OAKLAND, CA, September 9, 2003 – Topaz Hotel ServicesÔ (THS), a leading provider of hotel reservation systems and online services to the Lodging Industry, announced today a joint venture with AutoClerk, Inc., a developer of Property Management Systems (PMS) for hotels nationwide. The companies have established a seamless link between AutoClerk’s PMS and the THS’ propriety reservation systems; BookAbility, ResOnCall and the Topaz Central Reservation System. The state-of-the-art connectivity enables hotel properties using AutoClerk PMS to take confirmed online bookings directly from THS’ reservation systems. Two-way integration also facilitates rate and room inventory updates routinely from the AutoClerk PMS to a THS powered hotel web site. Hotel e-marketing capabilities are expanded by the automatic retrieval of all guest e-mail addresses from the PMS to be utilized with the THS’ marketing component. “We are very excited to add THS’ web booking capability and central reservations module to the versatility of the AutoClerkÒ Property Management System.
