Announce Two-Way Seamless Connectivity
OAKLAND, CA, September 9, 2003 – Topaz Hotel ServicesÔ (THS), a leading provider of hotel reservation systems and online services to the Lodging Industry, announced today a joint venture with AutoClerk, Inc., a developer of Property Management Systems (PMS) for hotels nationwide. The companies have established a seamless link between AutoClerk’s PMS and the THS’ propriety reservation systems; BookAbility, ResOnCall and the Topaz Central Reservation System.
The state-of-the-art connectivity enables hotel properties using AutoClerk PMS to take confirmed online bookings directly from THS’ reservation systems. Two-way integration also facilitates rate and room inventory updates routinely from the AutoClerk PMS to a THS powered hotel web site. Hotel e-marketing capabilities are expanded by the automatic retrieval of all guest e-mail addresses from the PMS to be utilized with the THS’ marketing component.
